The Garden Club of Virginia has awarded the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum a $4,000 grant for the implementation of its Sky Level Gardens. The Winchester-Clarke Garden Club nominated the Museum for the Commonwealth Award. The award will allow visitors to continue learning about horticulture through regular garden programs offered by local experts. The Sky Level Gardens feature plants native to Virginia. Club president and members are shown with the Museum Director.
